WHAT TO EXPECT DAY TO DAY 

 

Camlin Energy has an exciting opportunity for someone to join us in a Field Installation Technician position within the Global Services Department, European regional team.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Representing Camlin, by ensuring the customer comes first, and that field projects are maintained on track and supported in a professional manner whilst delivering excellent levels of professional service.
  • Ensures compliance with Camlin and customer site specific Health, Safety and Environmental policies.
  • Undertakes and regularly updates all training associated with the role including external mandatory H&S training as directed.
  • Responsible for the Installation / Commissioning of Camlin HV products.
  • Part of the GSD European team, Regular travel throughout Northern Europe and subsequent areas to undertake works in live sub-stations and network facilities.
  • General service and maintenance duties on site to Camlin HV products
  • Complete reports on works carried out, work orders and service appointments.
  • Maintain constant communication with department functions, enabling efficient & timely planning and scheduling of works.
  • Communicates and aligns with the wider team, reporting on customer satisfaction throughout and including post works.
  • Supports the non-conformance chain of issues within field projects, applying critical thinking skills, working with customer support to ensure relevant feedback and details are received and passed on for verification and analysis. 
  • Undertake other such duties that are required, commensurate with the role.

 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

 

  • A positive, can-do attitude, keen to learn and develop your skills.
  • Electrical background and relevant experience.
  • IT proficient with good documentation management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and professionalism.
    • A willingness to work additional hours and the flexibility to work weekends as required; must be able to travel within the specified region and possibly to other customer locations as and when required, therefore a current passport and driver’s license are essential.
    • Applicants are required to be bi-lingual, with Italian as their primary language and English (spoken and written) as their second.

QUALIFICATIONS 

 

  • HNC / HND in electrical / mechanical qualification or similar.

 

DESIRABLE  

 

Candidates are expected to have one or more of the following: 

 

  • At least 2 years’ industry experience.
  • Experience in reporting.
  • Demonstrate experience in critical thinking.
  • Demonstrate experience for customer interactions.
